Fred Sexsmithi

Fred Sexsmith has thirty five years of oil industry experience, including 10 years with a multinational and almost 20 years of international oil and gas consulting for one of the world's premiere oil and gas consulting firms. He has worked as an independent downstream oil advisor since mid-1995, incorporating his practice in 1999.

In recent years, the focus of Fred Sexsmith's work has been the downstream oil industry, at both the micro and macro-economic levels. At the macro-economic level he has developed country-wide industry structures and related regulatory frameworks to liberalise the petroleum markets of developing countries and foster optimum energy utilisation. At the individual company level, his work relates mainly to the privatisation and/or restructuring of state-owned oil companies.
