Bob Horn has 30+ years of process engineering experience, primarily in liquid coating pilot and manufacturing operations. Product experience includes graphic arts, photographic and optical materials, primarily roll goods. Additional experience in sheet goods coatings. Coating process expertise in roll, gravure, slot die and air knife techniques. Process contributions include solution and dispersion preparation operations through product coating, drying and inspection. Timely scale-up and control achieved through in-house and vendor worldwide pilot and manufacturing facilities. User of DOE and 6 Sigma technologies. Contributor to pilot and manufacturing plant design, implementation and start-up capital projects.
